Last updated

DeveloperTimeline is run by Rashid, who writes and edits every release. This page says what this website collects when you visit and what happens when you send an email.

The short version

  • The site has no accounts, no forms, and no payments.
  • Google Analytics counts visits and sets cookies to do it.
  • If you email me, I use your message to reply. That is all.
  • I do not sell personal data.

What the site collects

Visit statistics. The site uses Google Analytics 4. When a page loads, Google records which page you viewed, the site that sent you, your device and browser type, and a rough location based on your IP address. I read this as totals and trends. I do not try to identify individual visitors.

Server requests. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the page and to block abuse.

Email. Every contact link on the site opens your own email app. If you write to pr@developertimeline.io, I receive your address and whatever you choose to include. I use it to answer you and, if we work together, to run the collaboration.

Who else is involved

How long data is kept

Analytics cookies expire as listed in the Cookie Policy. Google keeps visit data for a limited period set in Google Analytics. I keep emails for as long as the conversation, and any work that follows from it, needs them.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site works the same without them.
  • You can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, or delete the personal data held about you, or to object to its use. Email me and I will sort it out.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
